The Swede Aino L. ?wenmark and the South African Hanmari Spiegel have been celebrating success with Fjarill. They have published five albums so far, won the Ruth World Music Prize, entered the final of the CREOLE World Music Prize, played hundreds of concerts in Germany and beyond. For some years, the program "Quiet Time" (previously unpublished) has been a fixed part of the year's end in the Fjarill concert hall. New songs have emerged and the "Quiet Time" has changed to the "Stilla Tyd". Only with singing (from time to time as a nice surprise two-part), piano and violin are Aino L?wenmark and Hanmari mirrors here more united than ever before. In the process, gentle folksongs, gentle hymns at the quiet time, pop-balances - reflectively on the occasion, but spiked with wit and Swedish-South African joy of life. Some old acquaintances are here, re-arranged and partially for the first time ever on CD commercially. Fjarill concerts are always a special moment - and every loyal and new fan will be happy about the new recordings and the direct, intimate and clear sound of the pieces. Most of the songs are, as always, on their own, but also some traditional songs from the native countries of the musicians must not be missing. The "Stilla Tyd" by Fjarill is not just for the Christmas celebrating peoples. A quiet time for all
