FULL SCALE RIOT is a NY/NJ-based hardcore band with politically charged lyrics and a sound influenced by early hardcore and crossover thrash. FULL SCALE RIOT was formed back in 2006 by former M.O.D. guitarist Tim McMurtrie and singer BJ Allen. Although FULL SCALE RIOT was Tim and BJs baby, the bands debut EP, Rise, doesnt feature BJ on vocals. Some time had passed and in 2014 Tim and BJ felt the climate was right to reform the group and stay true to their roots. Joining Tim and BJ in the rebirth are band mates Jeff Wood of SHAT on bass and Evan Rossiter on drums. This lineup clicked immediately and started working on the bands second release, Depopulation. Since then they have shared the stage with such acts as RINGWORM, MICHAEL GRAVES, CROWN OF THORNS, MURPHYS LAW, UNDERDOG, and THE MURDER JUNKIES to name a few. Their new release, Empower, showcases the growth this four-piece has made since the release of the Depopulation EP.
