The Leoniden, namely the brothers Lennart and Felix Eicke, Jakob Amr, Djamin Izadi and JP Neumann, create with their music a longing hybrid of eruption and revolting revolutions. Somehow, we are very well in 1990, as a title suggests the band, but then - and this track follow the five friends on their self-titled debut album - Leoniden open a much wider horizon. Their songs are blockbuster, perfect for the soundtrack of a Godzilla movie from the end of the 90s. Only that their monsters rage more through the urban clubs, than to eat through house sheds.
