The album title is a neologism from the words "Parapolis" (interculture) and "Acropolis". This creates the city or the fortress of the parasites. A metropolis for a species that wants to recreate our earth. The Earth of Homo Sapiens is implied and has destroyed itself. Through hate, greed, envy, fear, violence and ultimately war is the world frozen. The emotional cold between people has destroyed everything. Heart parasit come into play and try to rebuild. They land in this world and try to create new things from the ruins. They want to open our eyes to protect us from an end-time scenario. Many have stopped defending themselves and simply take it away and contribute to the destruction of this planet. Herzparasit makes a soul-stripping tease and creates a brisk mix of end-time mood and social psychology. Heart parasite as a world rendezvous? No, but they give us a gentle step in the right direction, not taking anything. For their third album, the five Munich times have left their mark on many influences and inspirations. Their sound has changed, developed further. Drifting riffs, melodic-intense emotional refrain and even more profound lyrics create an explosive overall picture. The title song "ParaKropolis" dresses in end-time mood and crunchy electro rocksounds. A sick love story unfolds in the NDH-Stampfer "preparation". Driving Dubstep beats await us in the songs "Ich" and "Vatermal". Chorus children's songs are in "Blood is not lying", a kind of tribute to the serial figure "Dexter". With "Regentage" the album is rounded off by gentle and melancholic sounds. In addition to "My Dreams Hunt Me After", there is also a second song, in which for the first time English lyrics are represented. In "It must be in English" the endless denomination of the "Denglisch" is denounced in our linguistic usage. Heart parasites do not shy away from placing social and self-critical thoughts in the foreground. They do not only point to others, but also emotionally deep inside themselves.
