Ina Siedlaczek and the Lautten Compagney present the Nine German Arias by Georg Friedrich H?ndel, combined with arias from his Brockes Passion. The soprano, with her pure, straight-lined and modulatory voice, lends the works lively expression. Its directness and naturalness create a balance to the opulence of the Baroque-Pietist texts. The instrumental sound image of the recording is characterized by an exceptionally colorful sound palette, both in melody voice and in the basso continuo: the obligatory instrumental voice is performed alternately (also within an aria), or even simultaneously by flute, oboe and violin; Besides, in the aria broke my heart, melted into tears (track 3) of the violin part of a viola da gamba, which gives this piece a particularly intimate character.
