Sentre is comprised of Dave Gardner and Dennis White, a production duo who merge melodic techno and sultry electronica with soulful vocals and an innovative pop sensibility. Dream Logic is the debut album, but Sentre have always found themselves at the forefront of cutting edge music, having worked with and remixed a diverse list of high-profile artists: from Sasha’s legendary Involver project to the likes of The XX, M83, Pete Tong, Calvin Harris, Maribou State, Moby, and Little Dragon amongst many more. Dream Logic is a versatile and dynamic album that explores everything from techno and house to break beats alongside slick elements of pop and r&b. Drawn is a highlight, employing the vocal talents of Stephanie O for a down tempo offering of smooth electronics with a catchy ‘drawn to you’ refrain sure to embed itself in the ears of listeners. Eclipse features 1403 and plays with dense sounds and shuffling percussion alongside stunning vocals. Canadian Vibes is a turning point as it’s a 3-minute blast of cinematic soundscapes, and Lost In The Moment features Norway’s Aurora who paints hypnotic sounds with her tender and allusive vocals. In between sublime downtempo electronica and broken 2-step, Believe offers house piano stabs next to cyclic vocals and euphoric textures until F-Ace marks Dream Logic’s conclusion as an underground dance floor number. Dream Logic sees Sentre unveil their identity with a varied, unique and dynamic record.
