Egons Now-Again Records has a long and creative partnership with the Munich multi-instrumentalist JJ Whitefield, the creative force behind the Poets of Rhythm, Whitefield Brothers and Karl Hector & The Malcouns. Rodinia, his latest project, is completely different, but still ties in with Poets of Rhythms' great "Discern / Define" and the experimental heyday of Krautrock, expanding the boundaries with a post-hip hop approach. The second Rodinia project is dedicated to the mid-1970s approach of electronic Krautrock in the style of Cluster, Harmonia, New! or Popul Vuh.
