Recently, support from Pete Doherty and now the talented Irish singer / songwriter Sion Hill announced his first own headline tour with his new album on his back. With an indescribable mix of soul, pop, old school rock, folk and fun, the young musician from Mullingar inspires his listeners and immerses them in a world full of blues rhythms and cool retro sound. Together with producer Johann Scheerer (Pete Doherty, Bosnian Rainbows), Sion Hill recorded the completely live debut album "Elephant", which reflects the full range of influences of Sion Hill: from folk to country to soul, rock and pop! Inspired by the old Motown recording, the first single was "Nothing's Wrong With Loving You", a timeless soul / pop classic, reminiscent of the 60s sound, and voted "Song of the Week" by the Irish Times. Spotify Germany also did not wait very long and took the track in her "New Music Friday". With the title track "Elephant", Sion Hill recorded a recording that revived the sex-laden disco-pop of the 70s and also the current single "Beaches" awakens summery feelings with funky guitars, organ and rebellious choir.
