On their second full-length album, SUSTO precede the clause & I'm Fine Today in multiple ways, studying the human experience with candor, humor and pathos. The intricate work is an exercise in actualization, an activity that continued after its release. "It turned out to be a really fun process to figure out how to make some of the stuff we created in the studio translate live," frontman Justin Osborne tells AXS. "It's a really fun and I think enlightening experience and empowering also knowing that you can set goals for yourself and say 'We're gonna figure out how to make this happen' and then you do." The Charleston-based five-piece has spent most of the year presenting their realized live experience to fans in venues of all sizes; they've gone from their own headlining tour of clubs to opening arenas for The Lumineers. Regardless of the room, the goal stays the same: "One of the most beautiful things you can experience in life is bringing a smile to someone's face and making them feel better about what's going on in life," Osborne says
