digipak. The story of Torchia leads back to the end of 2011 when the they played it’s first show. The purpose was to create a new and raw metallic union consisting of melodies, solos, high-tempos and madness in a unique way. In 2013 the first demo, One, was published. During regular touring and occasional self-torture the band strived for it’s own style of music and appearance. And made progress which was heard on the new and much improved song material. An EP called Ending Beginning in 2015 – with a new singer – showed more unique tones and much more better quality than ever before! First truly big steps Torchia took during the year 2016 when the first tour abroad was played and a new drummer was attached to the circle. The line up was finally ready to reveal the next card and entering the studio was just a matter of a very short period of time. In the beginning of 2017 the legendary Finnish producer Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Sentenced, Apocalyptica, Ensiferum) teamed up with the quintet and very soon the band’s new drummer was in a studio hitting the first hits of the becoming debut album! Torchia creates it’s own world with it’s music and presence. A world where hell and agony on earth meets with magic and mysteries of the underworld. The frontman Edward Torchia’s unique and personal live performance with of course the whole group’s high-end musicianship leads the whole quintet in a way you can say the band’s live act is clearly one of their many strengths! Musically, there’s still the basics to be expected: Uncommon metal, melodies, speed, solo’s and danger but with today’s experience in a way no one can expect.
