To cut their last record, the mythic Louisiana band Lil' Band O' Gold chose to roll with a French fantastic rock & roller, ex-member of Les Dogs, Tony Truant. Produced by C.C. Adckok himself, "With Pleasure" is, right after the recording of Robert Plant, the only collaboration of the Louisianans with a foreigner. "With Pleasure" consists in Tony's love letters to friends, first to James Trussart and his steel guitar that are worth all the gold of the earth, Louisiana, summer bath, mum & dad, Elvis and all of the loved one that have left this world. However, as Tony never stops shouting, that will not stop the worldwide BOOGA WOOGA. Who is Tony Truant : A little guy, born & raised in Dijon who ran away in the late seventies to play in his favorite band of all times : LES DOGS from Rouen, Normandie. After 15 years of crazy guitar sagas with them, he joined the only mainstream French punk band, the Wampas. Apart from this, he released his own material, sometimes with friends, like he did with the Fleshtones in 2005. Tony is an amazing songwriter and performer: his words make you smile and his guitar will blow your brains out. He is one of the few real rock & roller to sail under the French flag. SOUNDS LIKE : Serge Gainsbourg jammin' with Doctor John, Jacques Dutronc produced by Alen Toussain, Fran?oise Hardy fighting with a Gator, Congo Square full of drunk Frenchmen, Late Willy Deville, Great Rock & Roll.
