A mood of ecstatic intoxication prevails throughout the album, whether in stark rock n roll performances or celestial ballads, with Chris's croon rivaling the best singers in business. Songs like Different pit his rasping pipes against mellow orchestration, evoking debauched, Nilsson-esque vibes. Merging psychedelic sounds with lush instrumentation thrusts the song into uncharted territory-extending a conventional range of sounds and creating something so much more!
