Funky, bluesy, jazzy - if three established and well-known musicians of the German R&B scene release an organ trio CD, one can certainly expect a musical highlight. The whole thing seems lively, blues and groove-stressed, and here there is also a peculiarity, as traditional organ trios are associated with more traditional jazz sounds. The debut long player "First Take"features 74 minutes of music, mainly songs written by guitarist Gregor Hilden - who also initiated this project - as well as a few selected classic tunes. Music, on the borderline of blues, soul and jazz, which is characterized by the playfulness and spontaneity of the three protagonists. Improvisation, groove, good humour: the concept promises a rousing and versatile sound experience with a high musicality and fun factor!
