Ismail T?rker composes poems by his uncle Durmus T?rker. He sings about life in the countryside, questions of life, but above all about love and longing for it. With vocals, baglama and percussion, supported by Martina Binnig on violone and flute, a new music emerges, deeply rooted in a musical musical tradition, authentic and puristic. Folk songs tell of pain, love, strife, fighting and the longing of a people. With the help of Ismail T?rker, his uncle Durmus's lyrics have every chance of becoming such folk songs.
