Recorded live in Milan in May 2016, "Liver" presents the eccentric Italian maestros in their best form - playful, courageous and simply funny! Some of their strongest releases so far (especially from their 2011 release "Bani Ahead" and the delicious album "All You Can Eat" 2016) are taken up again in a really refreshing style: uninhibited, lively, but nevertheless extremely synchronous and intuitive interaction as a unit. Brilliant individual moments are abundant, many songs go far beyond the already established studio boundaries: soloists are given the opportunity to really get out and shine, while harmonic and rhythmic potentials are playfully explored by an always adventurous and constantly smouldering rhythm section the background. While many live albums appear only as a repetition or an attempt at an earlier musical magic, it is obvious that in the first frame Slivovitz deals completely with the material and shows both its collective and individual brilliance and ambition.
