Hellucination was born in Rome in 2010. First as a quintet and then as a quartet, they immediately began to get noticed playing with consistency on the stages of the Roman underground scene, with bands such as Hideous Divinity, The Modern Age Slavery, Necrosy and Amputated. At the end of 2015 they released their self-published debut album entitled "Katabasis", expanding their scope playing across the country. Hellucination has the ability to mix different styles of metal, creating a tight and dynamic yet profound sound. In their music you can clearly distinguish the heaviness of death metal, mixed with the powerful and deep melodies reminiscent of the northern school of melodic death metal, but not leaving behind the speed and rhythm of groove and thrash metal. The final result is a blend of modern metal, able to make you headbang as well as creating somber and evocative atmospheres. They draw inspiration from bands like Gojira, The Black Dahlia Murder, The Faceless, Despised Icon, Aborted, In Flames, At The Gates, DevilDriver, Lamb of God
