The Swiss metalworkers SCIENCE OF DISORDER come from Lausanne and were founded in 1989 by St?phane Grand in the golden age of Trash / Death Metal. SoD recorded 2 EPs and 2 albums under the name Soulless ("Lost Hopes", "Life Exctinction", "New Era" and "In The Maze of Darkness"). In 2010 the band released their first album "Heart, Blood and Tears" under the name SCIENCE OF DISORDER. Recorded in the USA by Orlando Villesanor, the guitars were tuned down and old school death metal mixed with more recent metal influences. The album was mastered in Denmark by Tue Madson, the drums were recorded by Kevin Talley, drummer with Daath, Chimaira, Dying Fetus, Six Feet Under, Misery Index. SCIENCE OF DISORDER shared the stage with many well-known bands like Rotten Sound, Sadus, Necrophagist, Times of Grace, Cephalic Carnage, Dying Fetus, played as support for Samael, Dagoba, Textures, Megadeth and went on tour together with the Swedish metal band Entombed. The ten new songs on the album entitled "Private Hell" and the Bonus Track, a piano version of the opener "Carrions", demonstrate uncompromising metal that skilfully combines various genre influences from thrash, doom and dark heavy metal with progressive elements and is supported by singer J?r?me's energetic vocals and dark growls.
