On November 24, 1990 the Einst?rzende Neubauten played in the classic line-up of Blixa Bargeld, F.M. Einheit, Mark Chung, N.U. Unruh and Alexander Hacke in the Philipshalle in D?sseldorf. The Rockpalast concert was recorded by WDR in proven quality, the various cameras are very close when the balance and unit are handling metal lids and drills. Therefore, as with all Rockpalast DVDs, the picture and sound quality is excellent. The CD also includes the audio tracks. All tracks were remastered for the 2018 reprint. The band had released their phenomenal fifth, trend-setting album "Haus der L?ge" the year before. At the time of the performance they were still in the eighties, so to speak, and the formation had not yet become their favourite in the feuilleton. Among the 16 pieces are well-known classics such as "Y?-Gung", "Zerst?rte Zelle", "Zeichnungen des Patienten O.T.", "Sehnsucht", "Feurio", "Trinklied" and - of course as a conclusion - "Letztes Biest am Himmel". The spectacle is rounded off by unpublished photos and detailed liner notes in the booklet.
