Darkly waved indie rock in the year 2018. Is that naive or is it already setting trends ingeniously again? Lizard Pool hardly cares about any trends, although they come from the hip city of Leipzig. Some say that Lizard Pool revives the golden era of post-punk with a certain indie charm, others think that world-weariness and rebellion collide here. Lizard Pool look with one eye at the dance floor, but always with a lowered gaze, because actually they prefer to dance for themselves alone, if they don't stand somewhere at the edge typing their feet, sipping a cold drink, watching the action, and wondering what this is all about with life, dreams and anger? Over the past two years Lizard Pool has played numerous concerts, including support for Phillip Boa, Pink Turns Blue, She Past Away, Fliehende St?rme, as well as festivals such as NCN and Out of Line Weekender. On 28 September 2018 the new album "Spark" will be released on Out Of Line (Rummelsnuff, Blutengel, Combichrist), which in itself is an exclamation mark, as the band brings a new, unusual facet to the label's portfolio.
