Damian Marhulets was born in Minsk, Belarus. and has been surrounded by music since his earliest childhood. Encouraged by his father - his first teacher and his role model - he grew into an excellent oboist and piano player. At the age of five he gave his first concert; only one year later he was invited to the renowned Music grammar school for highly gifted children in Minsk and played and toured with some of the the most famous orchestra in the country. Nevertheless, a certain restlessness in him: he had his childhood years mainly dedicated to traditional classical music and has not yet found his creative fulfillment.
