Jaak Soo??r is a guitarist and one of the most famous jazz musicians in the world. in the Baltic States. A Shooting Star is a very quiet one, melodious and sound-intensive album. This results in not automatically from the instrumentation with electric guitar (Jaak Soo??r), bass (Ara Yaralyan) and drums (Markku Ounaskari). Beside compositions of the bandleader there are pieces by Ara Yaralyan, some of which have been adapted from traditional Armenian songs are - and two pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach.
