German-speaking, angry and noisy indie rock in the aftermath of Dinosaur Jr. The Indie-Rock-Trio Heim consists of Denny Thasler (guitar, bass, vocals), Florian Bauer (bass, guitar), vocals) and Michael "Mike" Shihrer (drums). All three come originally from the Bavarian province and still share their love for Dinosaur Jr. and the Swans. In 2015, they brought their self-titled debut, the following year the noisy breakthrough album "Palm Beach" was released on wallpaper with a bulky melancholic guitars and resignedly rebellious German lyrics. "Palm Beach", which resulted in comparisons with the nerves or Friends of Gas, was performed live in the Mannheimer RAMA recording studios without overdubs, Christian Betghe helped with the production. Contrary came however "WS" in form. Because the band didn't have their own rehearsal room in the last two years, album no. 3 was created in very different places: Bamberg, Mannheim, Hamburg, Kassel, Nuremberg. Not only were they working with overdubs, the trio never actually worked together in the studio. Tracks were recorded separately from each other
