The second release on David August's 99CHANTS, "Adisceda", is the debut of 21-year-old UK producer Louis Sterling. David became aware of Louis through a demo and was impressed by his musical maturity and talent to express complex emotions with music. Created during a mourning process for a deceased close family member, Louis freely wrote "Adisceda" as a continuous prayer of remembrance as memories become paler, weaker and more invisible. The work, like a healing process, expresses the overcoming of grief and loss. Beautiful, hopeful, pure and transcendent. Mastered by ambient specialist Rafael Anton Irisarri at New York's Black Knoll Studio, the album is released on 180g heavyweight vinyl in one of Colin D's albums. Fletcher designed the full cover.
