With Fynn Gro?mann comes an almost pedantic sense for structural and tonal clarity with a very unobstructed emotionality together. He is not only saxophonist, oboist and bandleader, but also gives his debut as composer and arranger of the very first rank. The title "Halbwahrheiten" (Half Truths) is certainly a bit misleading, because despite the corresponding album and song title everything on this CD is credible, clear and comprehensible. - but still not predictable. Gro?mann admits to his perfectionism, but that he is not able to is only half the truth, according to his own statement.
