Garden Of Storms' is Mourning's fifth studio album and concludes a trilogy that began in 2012 with 'The Weight Of Oceans', followed by 'Afterglow' in 2016. Musically, the album covers a wide spectrum of influences based on melodic death metal. Doom riffs, blastbeats and deep growls contrast with tranquil passages with carried melodies and harmonies. In contrast to 'Afterglow' 'Garden Of Storms' was recorded with Jonas Kjellgren, who was already responsible for the sound of the band's early works. In Mourning, even their new long player says he's our most solid, round album yet - at a time when our environment seems to be in a constant state of flux.
