In the beginning she played and sang classical folk songs of successful colleagues like Tom Paxton, Phil Ochs and Bob Dylan. She recorded her own versions of well-known songs such as Dylan's 'Mr. Tambourine Man' or 'Turn! Turn! Turn! by Pete Seeger. She also played tracks of still little known songwriters, e.g. Leonard Cohen, whose 'Suzanne' she first released, or Joni Mitchell. With her album 'Wildflowers' Judy Collins started to record her own songs. The album won a Grammy and the first hit was 'Both Sides Now', written by Joni Mitchell, which gave him his first career boost. On the second, extensive and compact box are now nine more albums of the singer from the years 1970 - 1984 on a total of nine CDs. All albums come in mini replicas with the original artwork.
