Former STYX frontman Dennis DeYoung will release his new album, "26 East: Volume 1", on April 10 via Frontiers Music Srl. The 10-song LP will feature the duet "To The Good Old Days" with Julian Lennon. 26 East' is the address where DeYoung grew up in Chicago and from where he started his musical career. So the new album is to be understood as a return to his early years, as well as to DeYoung's experiences on his way to the rock summit with Styx. And why 'Volume 1'? Because DeYoung had so many songs ready that they decided to release two - Volume 2 is to follow in just under a year! The new songs, which were mostly written in collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Jim Peterik (songwriter of 'Eye Of The Tiger'), are a reflection of Styx's past, especially since DeYoung's voice remains unmistakable. As special guest Julian Lennon sings the song 'To The Good Old Days' as a duet with DeYoung.
