On the occasion of Beethoven's (1770-1827) 250th birthday in 2020, this double CD presents piano works by the master, which do not belong to the monumental sonata canon, but to other genres that the composer fills with his genius has: Trifles and variations. The three Bagatelles cycles op. 33, 119 and 126 show Beethoven as an improviser, whose mind is literally overflowing with ideas, experiments and jokes, but who is also capable of creating tender and intimate to capture miniatures that are deeply touching in their sincerity and deep feelings. As a "bonus" the new recording also includes the exquisite Variations op. 34 and the Rondo Capriccioso op. 129.
