With their debut, the Saarbr?cken quintet Scorged has made a mad extreme metal record with Death, Thrash and Groove ingredients. The music impresses with its ear-splitting aggressiveness and rapid changes from high-speed riffing to groove parts. Scorged's songs push themselves so powerfully and unstoppably through the ears, that both the younger very hard faction and the old-school death metalheads are likely to be warm (or cold). Scorged riffs and beats each other through the songs, that it's a real pleasure. Their completely modern sound makes the hearts of the headbangers beat faster, and has an enormous recognition value, due to the wrathfully intense guttural vocals, cutting guitar sound, distinctive rhythms and merciless drum fills. They express in their texts what they dislike. Extreme Metal is their valve: no rules, no compromises!
