The young London band PVA releases their new "Toner" EP on Big Dada. Besides three new tracks - "Talks", "Sleek Form", "Exhaust/ Surroundings" - the EP also contains remixes by Mura Masa, an early fan of the trio, Lynks and Daniel Fox of Girl Band. PVA was originally formed after a house party in 2018. Since then, the trio has gained a notorious reputation as one of the best live bands in the English capital, receiving unprecedented support long before they set foot in a studio. In a time of uncertainty for live music, the band's studio skills are now coming to the fore in jubilation. The group combines industrial miasma, new wave, post-punk and focused pop bragging rights in a sharp multi-genre cocktail that has won them fans across the country. "Toner" is only PVA's first EP, but the excitement is palpable everywhere. Never, even for a minute, does the music sit still. Instead, it jumps back and forth between ideas with instinctive ease, bringing a wide range of sounds and influences to light.
