Originally founded and still led today by Swiss accordionist and bandoneonist Marl?ne Cl?ment in 1998, tango sextet ,faux pas" from Northern Germany, is popular with German tango lovers as well as international audiences in Europe, South America and Asia. For their new album they arranged and recorded a fine selection from Traditional Tango Compositions to Tango Nuevos by composers like Astor Piazzolla, Graham Lynch and Richard Galliano. Vocal songs, some with guest vocalist Mario Pinnola form Buenos Aires, and instrumentals are found equally on the record. Always their interpretations are convincing by a beautiful clarity in sound and arrangement. The individual virtuosity and sensitivity of each musician are noticeable throughout the whole album but never interfere with the ensemble sound as a whole.
