The strenght is to be found in serenity. After three albums, countless concerts and a baby, it was time for a small break at Too Tangled. The past had to be reflected and experiences to be celebrated. In search of isolation and inspiration, the band fell into a small, abandoned hut in Belgium. And what is to be said, the seclusion should stand out as the perfect place for the fourth longplayer of the Belgian indie / wave / rock duo. On "Revel Revel" Too Tangled present a new, more progressive sound with more electronic influences than on the previous albums. What remains is the gloomy atmosphere that wraps the music of Too Tangled like a thick fog. But even after the completion of the songs there should be more surprises. Through her work with Ian Davenport, a contact was made to "The Lodge", the legendary New York studio. Emily Lazar, who became known for her work with Depeche Mode, Sonic Youth, Bj?rk, Paul McCartney (and many others), was instantly inspired by Too Tangled: "We are overall moved by the vibe, sound, and the production ' Band then also asked if they do not want to come short from LA to New York, they could only answer with a slight grin in the face: "..LA?
