Rough guitar sound from England, paired with danceable disco-synthie elements, so that no foot will stay still: that's what the name of the British band Working Men's Club stands for. The self-titled debut album of the four English youngsters is released via Heavenly Recordings. The group was named after the British workers' associations that often served as a refuge for band members in their youth to escape the dreary everyday life of the province. The new songs were created together with producer Ross Orton, who already has impressive work records in conjunction with M.I.A. or the Arctic Monkeys.
