"5 EPs" comprises, as the name suggests, a collection of 5 different EPs by Dirty Projectors, which were already released in a strictly limited edition in the course of this year, now appear together on CD and 2LP! 5 EPs, as the name suggests, is a collection of 5 different EPs released during the year 2020, each one featuring one band member: The first 4 EPs feature one lead singer of each band member and also differ in sound: Maia Friedman's Window Opens is acoustic & folky; Felicia Douglas' Flight Tower electronic; Kristin Silpp's Earth Crisis is a digitally deconstructed orchestral collage; and Dave Longstreth's EP Super Jo?o Bossa Nova. The 5th EP Ring Road is then sung by all members and recapitulates everything again with a classic full-band Dirty Projectors sound.
