Scots trio follow up the acclaimed Game On. Produced by Luke Morley of Thunder, and engineered by Nick Brine. "The Amorettes make a great noise," says Morley, "so I was delighted to be involved in the new album. I think we've captured something really special with the album." " It was unlike anything we've ever done before" says Heather. "We've been introduced to an entirely new way of breaking down our songs and working out structures. I think that overall, this is the most exciting album we've ever made." The 10 tracks that made the cut on White Hot Heat have again been written by Montgomery, the band's primary songwriter. On this occasion, she's also co-written some songs with both Luke Morley, and Ricky Warwick of Black Star Riders.
