An experimental instrumental solo album from Charles Bobuck, primary composer and arranger for The Residents. This collection of instrumental "contraptions" abandons the dramatic, clever or ironic music of The Residents. Instead it is a series of tuned percussive patterns laid on top of each other like an audio mosaic. They take their beauty in a type of minimalism though this is not mathematical formula music. The sounds and structures are the result of human interaction and intervention
