New Norwegian punk/metal band. Although heavily influenced by the old-school of crust punk, hardcore and metal, they haven't simply recycled the sounds and themes of the past. Instead, they have overhauled and upgraded them. Their debut album, recorded and produced by themselves and mixed by Haust's Ruben Willem, shows a band evolving the sound of their label mates ?rabrot and Okkultokrati into a behemoth of aggression and weirdness. From the first track to the last, NAG's self-titled sonic debut is a brute. The catchy first single oon' with its nordic chants, the Converge-esque aster' and the punk anthem mpire'. The artwork features the famous work of Halfdan Egedius "The Sorcerers of Skratteskj?r" and illustrates another decisive point in Norwegian history, when the remaining few odinist sorcerers were chained to an island and left to be drowned by the tide.
