Texas born T-Bone Walker was a staple of the West Coast blues scene in Los Angeles for nearly 40 years, getting his start in the legendary clubs of Central Avenue. This album was recorded over the space of several years, from 1955-1959, in a time of limited recording activity for the great Walker. Despite the disjointed nature of these recordings, the album remains a cohesive whole, a quintessential piece of West Coast electric blues, back in print thanks to Rumble.
