Fame Records was an off-shoot of the renowned FAME Studio, and this special vinyl-only compilation looks at the very best of the label's work during its first four years. The LP features hits by Clarence Carter and Jimmy Hughes, Northern soul classics from James Barnett and Art Freeman, recordings by Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham as well as a plethora of cuts appearing on vinyl for the very first time.
