his is my debut album, which I've been working on for a long time and I'm so happy to share it with you. The name comes from Latin American mythology. El Dorado (The Golden One) is a mythical tribal chief of the Muisca native people of Colombia, who, as an initiation rite, covered himself with gold dust and dived into Lake Guatavita. The legends surrounding El Dorado changed over time, as it went from being a city, to a kingdom, and then finally an empire. (City of Gold) Within Muisca society, Gold represents the energy contained in the trinity of Chiminigagua, which constitutes the creative power of everything that exists. Golden objects were made and then thrown into the sacred lake as offerings to the gods to encourage them to balance the equilibrium of the cosmos and ensure a stable relationship with their environment.
