Recorded live at London’s Town and Country Club in March 1992 at the end of their Guaranteed Tour, Level 42 perform to a sell-out crowd. Lead vocalist and iconic bassist Mark King extols the virtue of pure musicianship in the band's 80's classics like Running in the Family, Hot Water and The Sun Goes Down. With a sound and string of hits that have come to optimise 80's pop, this stunning live performance also includes the hits Children Say and Lessons in Love. Formed in 1979, the band gained fame for their high-calibre musicianship—in particular that of Mark King, whose percussive slap-bass guitar technique provided the driving groove of many of the band's hits. The band are also known for the combination of King's lead vocals and keyboard player Mike Lindup's falsetto backing vocals. Their most successful single was Lessons in Love, which reached #3 on the UK Singles Chart, and #12 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, upon its release in 1986.
