Quartz toured heavily during the 70's and early 80's playing Reading Festival three times (1976, 1977 and 1980) and touring in support of some of the larger hard rock bands of the time (Iron Maiden, Saxon, UFO and Rush). Quartz were an early-on-the-scene band and by the time this album was released they had matured somewhat, producing a solid effort which isn’t afraid to tackle new territory.
