With his piano improvisations 'Moments' the musician and composer Markus Stollenwerk enters familiar unfamiliar grounds. As a crossover between musical worlds and styles, he has long been in demand especially when it comes to combining the two worlds of classical and heavy metal. Now, in his improvisations, he dedicates himself to the rather soft and deliberate tones and directs the listener through his 12 'Moments' with reflective sounds. Each of his moments has its starting point in an individual mood, an individual sound. At the same time, the music is never caught in the moment. It rather stimulates the imagination of each individual to a journey into their own memories and longings. As in the case of his other projects, Markus Stollenwerk also escapes the clear assignability to a specific genre. Classical sounds can be found on the album as well as jazzy or even avant-garde sounds.
