DRIVE LIKE MARIA - Creator, Preserver, Destroyer (Sealed) (2LP)

Drive like Maria is back. And how! With Creator, Preserver, Destroyer brings the power trio that adorns majority in strong and extremely soulful alternative rock, this impressive third studio album as a triptych. The band has teamed up with Caroline Benelux. The first part Creator appear on April 15 and is composed of four tracks. The second part follows in September after which comes the full length album in January 2017. After three years of retreat into their own studio in Italy, Drive like Maria recently a corner of the veil lifted by releasing street track Nighthawk. The accompanying video can be viewed here. The first official single Keeps Me Going comes out on March 18. A song worn with fiery drumming that sounds both poppy and catchy and has a viciously addictive. With Creator, Preserver, Destroyer is the three piece after flaming debut Elmwood (2009) and the second album opschuddende Drive Like Maria (2012), now in its third studio album. This they transcend themselves, and they are once again make for better guitar rock and quirky songs. The core of the album is the cyclical process of creating, building and breaking down again. This resulted in a dark but intrinsic collection of songs that are closer than ever, the band and their musicality and skills like never before bundles. For the realization of Creator, Preserver, Destroyer's Drive like Maria assisted by several fellow artists who have added their specific sound on this album. So took Jop van Summeren (State) for a few songs the bass on his behalf and sang Lara Chedraoui (Intergalactic Lovers) backing vocals and lead in the atmospheric Will we ever. Remko K?hne (Milow, Alain Clark) is heard keys When the lights go down and the rousing Tiny Terror. For the record, the relief turned to fellow producer Thomas Harsem (Intergalactic Lovers, Still Parade, Jonathan Johansson). With John Agnello (Kurt Ville, Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth, The Kills) is the final touches to the mix laid. On the live area Drive like Maria has become one of Benelux 'most acclaimed live acts. The trio stands for a rock performance that splashed down from the stage and the audience leaves breathless, wanting more of this intense, firm and sometimes melancholic repertoire.
