Rude Records own Catch Fire are back again with another release which really shows what they’re all about and they feel that this is their best release to date and I can see what they mean by listening to it. I feel though that in the pop punk scene now that there’s too many bands that sound like this and it’s hard to break the mould. However, these guys are doing just that while keeping the trademark sounds of any pop punk band. It’s hard to really find a favourite track on the release as they’re all just as good and the production on the release is incredibly well done for a pop punk band as well so hats off to jigsaw Audio for the incredible sound that they’ve made this band sound like. I most definitely think their track Thin Ice is a really happy upbeat song compared to the rest of the songs on this album so this would stand out a little bit personally thinking about it but I can see why these guys have got quite a lot of recognition for the sound they’re going for. Definitely think everyone should keep an eye out on what these guys do next as I believe they could really hit it big time if they keep working at it and keeping the sound they have going on. This EP drops on 24th March via Rude Records and I recommend everyone to pick it up
