Death by Chocolate have traveled with 120 concerts at home and abroad in the last two years. And far gone. In Nashville the five Bielers recorded the song "Animal Keeper" with the four-time Grammy winner, producer and engineer Vance Powell (Jack White, The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs, Buddy Guy, Seasick Steve). That was the deal. Not that the common wavelength is so far that Powell says by himself: "Okay guys, let's do a record." The big words were followed: In the ICP studio in Brussels, Death by Chocolate recorded eleven songs in twelve days. The sparks sprayed in all directions. "Crooked for you" shows on the one hand the energetic rock band that the live audience loves for years, but also the buddies who philosophize in the early evening on the veranda in Nashville about life, then to late into the night with colleague To lose pop in the shimmering city. Compared to their predecessors "Among Sirens", Death by Chocolate's third album produces an even broader range of moods, dare to innovate, and once again sharpen the appeal of rhythm and text.
