The Fool’s Gold debut is loaded with guest appearances ranging from Father to Deftones’ Chino Moreno. Super producer Nick Hook has released his debut full-length Relationships today via Fool’s Gold and the guest appearances are completely out of control. He’s got contributions from Novelist, Hudson Mohawke, Spank Rock, Junglepussy, Awful Records’ Father and Keithcharles Spacebar, Deftones’ Chino Moreno and that’s just scratching the surface. But what makes Relationships particularly special is that the opener and closer are collaborations Hook did with footwork luminary DJ Rashad before his untimely passing in 2014. As with the rest of the album, Rashad spent time with Hook in his studio in Greenpoint, which is basically a revolving door of who’s who in rap and dance.
