After their successful predecessors album "Magnolia", which worried around the world for super resonances, Pineapple Thief have now created the most ambitious work with their new studio album "Your Wilderness". Pineapple Thief is one of the most active bands from England and has not enjoyed a time out since its founding in 1999. Band founder and principal songwriter Bruce Soord is always keen to develop the sound of the band and to develop qualitatively to a maximum. From the musical point of view, "Your Wilderness", which is the band's eleventh studio album, is a change in the band's sound, leading The Pineapple Thief away from the rather poppy sound of the predecessor album "Magnolia". The band has taken the liberty to go to the factory with a dreamteam of musicians and beautiful guest contributions (Gavon Harrison - Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, Geoffrey Richardson - Caravan and John Helliwell). Soord has been inspired by his Progressive Rock roots and has taken this as an approach to further develop the sound of his band.
