Perspectives - finally the debut album of a band, which has come to impress not only the Austrian music landscape with electronic depth. The pre-release releases "Breathing", "Put You Back Together" or "Not A Man Of Violence" reveal the incredible potential of NIHILS. But from the beginning ... For more than a decade it is now that a few ambitious teenagers - at that time still four - decided to pass the time with music and to stir up the culture of their sleepy Tyrolean homeland. Based on the UK-Indie-Sound of the early 2000s, they succeeded with the band "Set My Sail" after a short time as a secret hit, with which they laid the foundation for their further success. Ramon, Thomas, and Flo noted that they had to change their musical course a bit to make the "indie unison". The vision of creating her very own "signature sound" never lost sight of her. They spent hours, days, months in the studio learning the DIY style DIY. They tried - always driven by the curiosity and the desire to experiment - and the stylistic means at their disposal. The debut album "Perspectives", created with the help of the producers Niko St?ssl and Paul Kinski in Berlin, is the logical consequence of this musical career. It is a plate, which is heard its long-term development process. The NIHILS have matured on their new-found sound and symbiosis with them. More and more often, they allowed the influence of elec- tronic elements to take hold, gave themselves up to it in a passionate manner and discovered a niche of contemporary pop music that seemed to be tailor-made and waiting for them. Indie guitars have only a few accents, electronic sounds are clearly decisive. One can, among other things, On the pre-release releases - the singles "Put You Back Together" and "Breathing" let you guess how great the arrangements on "Perspectives" come. Electronic depth, bold hooks and melodic vocals are from then on the newly discovered success recipe of their songs. It is infectious dance music with the necessary style emerged, melodic pop songs with a certain soul, funk and beat beat side, which is difficult to escape. So you really need not be a prophet to say that NIHILS 2017 will undoubtedly be one of the brightest fixed stars of the local music scene - and far beyond the national borders.
