Best known for her album 'Everybody Got Their Something' Nikka Costa is back. After discovering an old arrangement that her late father, Don Costa, had written for Frank Sinatra, Nikka (with some help) was able to use these 50-piece orchestra arrangements and re-write them for a string quartet and eventually to the recordings on this album. Nikka released her first record at the young age of eight in 1980. Her relationship with Frank Sinatra growing up led her to record with and perform alongside Frank Sinatra and the White House. Her relationship with Prince led to her penning the track 'Silver Tongue' which became the B-side to his single 'Call Your Name' and this album is her chance to pay homage to her close friend with her rendition of the classic 'Nothing Compares 2 U.'
